Deliciously Deadly
The Brief
University brief set for my typography module.
Develop a type-led bilingual poster campaign to visualise the newest exhibit at Amueddfa CymruDeliciously Deadly, celebrating the world’s most captivating toxic flora and fauna.
The Process
This brief encouraged a playful "type-as-art" approach to typography. In order to develop a fluid, organic typographic outcome, I used honey to create type and develop a visual library of letters I could use—utilising my knowledge of type anatomy to develop additional letters as needed.

The decision to use honey was inspired by poison-dart frogs, and the patterns on their backs. I wanted to recreate this look in an organic way, so it made sense to use something natural.

The Outcome
The outcome for this project was a bilingual type-led poster campaign in both Welsh and English. Deliverables included the poster design, as well as other applications as museum banners and a web homepage takeover.
